Training Path Display Modes
Training path display modes allow you to adapt the participant learning experience based on personalization, accessibility, or content highlighting needs.
To select a display mode, you must access the training path settings from its home page.

Selecting a training path display mode
To change the display mode of a training path:
- Go to the relevant training path.
- From the training path home page, locate the « Display mode » section at the top of the page.
- Click the pencil icon.
- Select the desired display mode.
Changing the display mode impacts the visual experience and some features available to participants.
Understanding Odyssey mode
Odyssey mode is selected by default when creating a training path. It provides the most personalized and comprehensive learning experience.
With this display mode, you can:
- Change the main color to match the visual identity of the training path.
- Add a training path referent to support participants.
- Choose how content is displayed:
- list view
- grid view
- Provide an accessible experience, especially for participants with accessibility constraints.
- Enable the « Macro Adaptive » option, which automatically adapts the experience or progression based on the participant’s journey.
Understanding other display modes
Other display modes mainly allow you to modify the appearance of the training path and certain navigation behaviors.
Using Dark mode
Dark mode provides a dark interface.
With this display mode, you can:
- Add a training path referent.
- Configure the overall display of the training path.
However:
- Macro Adaptive is not available.
- Main color customization is not possible.
Using Light mode
Light mode provides a light interface with features similar to Dark mode.
With this display mode:
- You can add a training path referent.
- You can configure how the training path is displayed.
However:
- Macro Adaptive is not available.
- Color customization is not available.
Using Carousel mode
Carousel mode changes navigation and the visual structure of the training path for participants.
With this display mode:
- sections and sub-sections are presented across multiple visual blocks
- each sub-section includes a bluish thumbnail
- this color is set by default and cannot be modified
Identifying differences between display modes
Odyssey mode is the most complete display mode, as it combines visual personalization, accessibility, and pedagogical adaptation through Macro Adaptive.
Dark, Light, and Carousel modes mainly allow aesthetic or navigation changes, with fewer advanced options.
