I don't see my changes when I test my course
You have edited a course or an assessment, but you don't see your changes when you take it? This usually happens when you test it while logged in as a learner, after having already started it.

Why your changes don't appear
When you take a course or an assessment while logged in as a learner, Teach Up records your attempt, just like for any other learner. If you have already started or completed the course, some changes are not displayed: you continue the course in the version you started.
This is the case, for example, for:
- adding or removing content;
- adding or removing a question;
- changing the learning activities on a piece of content or a question;
- turning hyper-memorization on or off for a question.
On the other hand, correcting existing content, rewording a question or editing the end screen are visible right away. See the full list in Modify a course, an assessment, or training path after distribution.
Test with the "Preview" button
To check your changes, use the studio's "Preview" button instead: it always shows the latest version of your course or assessment. Your tests are not recorded and do not appear in the dashboards.
To find out how to test a specific piece of content or a whole activity, see Test content on Teach Up.
The review link also always shows the latest version. It is used to have your content proofread and corrected by other people, not to test the learner experience.
You have already taken the course as a learner
To see the latest version as a learner, delete your results for this course or assessment, then start it again from the beginning. The steps are detailed in Deleting a learner's results.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to delete my results after every change?
No, only if you test while logged in as a learner. With the "Preview" button, you always see the latest version, without deleting anything.
Do my learners see my changes?
It depends on the type of change and on their progress: a learner who hasn't started sees the new version, while a learner who has already started may not see some changes. All cases are detailed in Modify a course, an assessment, or training path after distribution.
