Setting up certificates

Setting up certificates

Would you like your learners to be able to download a certificate of completion?

There are two types of certificate in Teach Up: certificates of completion and certificates of achievement.

Certificates of completion can be found at two levels (on e-learning courses and on learning paths). Certificates of achievement are issued at the end of an assessment.

These certificates are available for learners to download once they have completed their courses.

With the Platform subscription, you can also download them via the dashboards for each activity.

Let's see how to set up each of these attestations

Module completion certificates

To set up the attestation linked to a module, go to the module creation tab. In the module outline on the left, select "Last page". You will then be able to set the end screen that appears when the learner has completed the module. This is where you can set the parameters for the certificate.

This certificate can be customized with :

your logo
a description of the activity
display of the time spent on the course: you can choose between the actual time spent by the learner OR the average time defined by you beforehand
display of the training organization's signature
an empty box for adding the learner's signature: the signature will not be recorded on Teach Up
footer annotation

Certificates of achievement on assessments

To set up the attestation linked to an assessment, go to the assessment creation tab. In the evaluation plan on the left, select "End screen". You will then be able to set the end screen that appears when the learner has completed the assessment. This is also where you can set the attestation, at the very end of the menu. It will only be available if the learner passes the assessment, according to the criteria defined by its author.

The attestation linked to the completion and success of an assessment is identical to that of a module. It can include the following fields :

your logo
a description of the activity
display of the time spent on the course: you can choose between the actual time spent by the learner OR the average time defined by you beforehand
display of the training organization's signature
aan empty box for adding the learner's signature: the signature will not be recorded on Teach Up
footer annotation

Training path completion certificates

To set up the attestation linked to a course, go to the training path creation tab. In the course map on the left, select "End of course". This is where you can set up the attestation.
